Quand la musique est bonne (Saxophone Ensemble) - Jean-Jacques Goldman

Level: 1st to 3rd Cycle

Released in 1982, "Quand la musique est bonne" is one of Jean-Jacques Goldman's greatest hits, thanks in particular to its catchy chorus.
The single went gold (selling over 500,000 copies) in 1982 and went platinum (selling over a million copies) in 1983.

This song is ideal for ending a concert or audition because it allows the whole class to play together (cycles 1-2-3).

It's better with drums, but the arrangement works very well without!

Difficult parts at the end of cycle 2/cycle 3 (with a saxophone solo in the middle of the piece):
Soprano/alto1/alto 2/tenor sax 1/bar sax

End of cycle 1/beginning of cycle 2 parts:
Alto 3/tenor 2

Easy parts (1st year/2nd year saxophone) :
Alto 4/tenor 3
